Runics ch.2:The Arrival

Vincent go get Jacob and Jacquelyn and tell them to come here,“ Samuel said as they walked back through the halls.
“Whatever,” he said as he walked through the large glass doors that lead outside. “Virgil said they were by the fountain, huh, there they are, arguing of course,” he approached the two, Jacquelyn was a girl who looked 15 she had long light green hair and wore an unusual uniform that consisted of high heels, a miniskirt that honestly didn’t hide anything and a sleeveless government jacket that cut off at the waist with a large hole cut out of the midriff  that showed most of her stomach and some of her chest, this unusual uniform led to many fight that consisted of her beating the crap out of any soldier who happen to get cocky, sitting next to her was her twin brother who wore the usual uniform with the same jacket as his sister, minus the large hole. He had extremely short blonde hair and a single earring dangling down, so basically any generic boy band member.
“I don’t know why I even came here in the first place!”
“Don’t say that! You know Rosencast will kill you if he finds out,” his sister retorted.
“Yeah he will,” Vincent interrupted the argument , causing the two to spin around.
“What the hell do you want?”
“Calm down Jacob. You’re always so tense. Anyway Samuel wanted me to tell you to get ready, we’re attacking Old Arkus at dawn,” Jacob tensed at the remark,” I hope you’re ready.”
“Don’t worry.”
“Jacob…” he got up and walked away, not turning around, “dammit.”

As Dimitri left his room several hours later and joined the now adjourned meeting,” about time you got here,” Vincent remarked as Dimitri met up with the others. The twins went to prepare the soldiers for the attack, and Lucy slowly walked past them with an extremely sad look on her face.
“I can’t believe this is about to happen.”
“Don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts,” Samuel said as he cam into the room.
“No sir!”
“Good! Well the sun is setting so I think it’s about time to leave.”
“Yes sir.”

After hours of senseless violence Date and Chris were reduced to standing in one spot and beating each other senseless. Eventually Justin stopped them, ”that’s enough! It’s already sunset, Dante what the hell did Chris do anyway?”
“He, um…well I don’t really remember,” and they all stared quietly at each other as a single crow in the distance squawked, almost mocking them.
“Anyway, Dante you go cool off somewhere and Chris com with me there’s a new arrival here.” The two of them walked to a small building not to far from where the crowd was not long ago. Justin walked into the room and saw the girl who looked about 18 who had long brown hair and small square glasses accenting multicolored topaz eyes. She was wearing worn out tennis shoes, green cargo shorts that only came to about the middle of her thigh, and a black tank top that looked like it had been worn for days on end. “Hello I’m Justin and this is…where’d he go?” Suddenly Chris burst into the room wearing a full blown doctors outfit including very reflective glasses and a blank chart.
“Now then let’s began shall we!” Suddenly he had gotten very close to her, staring her strait in the eyes, ”we’ll begin with a complete physical!” And with a quick slap to the face he had ended up on his back.
“Pervert!” She quickly yelled out.
“Idiot,” Justin thought to himself in the opposite corner of the room. Chris got back up, the outfit now miraculously gone, and with the entire right side of his face swelled up he said,” now the you just need to answer a few questions, so what is your name?”
“Macie.”
“ Great, and what is your power?”
“ Seduction.” As soon as she said that the two boys simultaneously raised there eyebrows into the air.
“Really?”
“What you don’t believe me?’
“It’s not that but… that’s a very unique power.”
“Well it’s not like it’s ever been useful.”
“Alright then,” Justin intruded, “That’s all we need to know, so I’ll show you to your living quarters and Chris…”
“Yeah?”
“Go get some sleep, I have a feeling tomorrow’s gonna be a big day.” Later that night Chris was sitting on top of a gargoyle at a worn out old skyscraper. Macie had snuck up the tall building and was quietly standing behind him.
“ You should try and get some sleep while you still can,” he said quietly.
“Um, I’m sorry about before.”
“Don’t worry about it, skin as hard as steel remember?”
“Yeah, Justin said something about today being an important day?”
“You shouldn’t get involved,” Justin said as she turned around to see him leaning against the wall, ”they’re here Chris.”
“I know,’ as the sun raised on Old Arkus everyone in the city saw Samuel Rosencast standing on a mountain of rubble with his officers lined up beside him. The battle had begun.
